I would SO like to see Wicked! There was a huge billboard for it in NYC when I was there, but it hadn't opened yet. Was it good?

It was excellent.
Only actual On-Broadway show I've seen.
The other musicals I listed are the ones where I was an orchestra member, for the most part anyway.

More from the memory.....
Sweeney Todd.

I sure would like to see WSC's list added to the ones you two made! Where is that friend?? I can't blame him if he grew disgusted with the place where we first met but he could stop HERE and say hi and let us know he's around and OK.

Okay, I'll jump in on this one, but my memory isn't all that good.

1. Liberace
2. Ferrante & Teicher
3. The Monkees
4. 3 Dog Night
5. Blood, Sweat & Tears
6. Guess Who (2 times)
7. 5th Dimension (2 times)
8. Beach Boys (4 times--yes, I'm a FAN)
9. The Outsiders
10 Paul Revere & the Raiders (2 times)
11. Yardbirds
12. Wilkinsons
13. Garth Brooks
14. George Strait
15. Collin Raye
16. Terri Clark
17. Nitty Gritty Dirt Band
18. Pete Fountain

I won't even try the musicals right now. We had season tickets to Kenley Star Theater back in 1968 and 1969, and I can barely begin to remember what shows we saw at Century II then. It was like summer stock, in some respect, as the supporting cast was pretty much the same throughout the season (summer), and big names played the lead roles. John Raitt, Joann Worely (from Laugh-In fame), and Gisell McKenzie (you gotta be old to remember her). I'm guessing there were 6-8 shows per season. It'll take digging out my old (and decrepit) scrapbook to know, and life isn't allowing things like that right now. :)

Rox,

My wife likes Garth and George(there at 13 and 14 respectively). I'd venture to wager maybe even some of the other country singers listed.

Danny,

I didn't even listen to country when I saw George, but I have to admit it was a great concert. Garth's sharply contrasted it. Totally different. George is laid back and easy, while Garth was all over the stage with so much energy, he made me tired. >g< Good artists, both.

Speaking of Summer Theater, forgot to mention above seeing "Showboat" at the Indianapolis Starlight; Shirley Jones in the female lead.
