For better or worse on finding search results faster, Google already does data mine searches performed at Google. They keep the searches forever. In unanonymized form it is kept for two years, then anonymized. However, as has been proven by the AOL search leak, anonymized search data can still be tied back to the person doing the search(or at the least get very close to the location of the person).
