Heaven knows we have issues with our current administration but I feel that Sean Penn in Venezuela w/ Hugo Chavez being all anti-bush isn't right. (It's kinda like Hanoi Jane Fonda again.)
Granted I think that Bush should have impeachment hearings and let everything come to light but if Bush is impeached and divested of the presidency then we're stuck w/ Cheney. Um yeah I'm kinda thinking that would be like the fox in the hen house.

What does everyone else think of the Penn issue at hand?

I don't want impeachment -- it would be an exercise in futility. I would like to see Congress stand up to bushco and hold them accountable, quit the rubber stamping and allowing the current bunch in the White House to trample on our rights. I was very upset with members of the House who appeared only to think of getting home to campaign so caved in on the wiretapping bill last weekend. I understand their majority is a slim one but they do not have to roll over and lay down like carpets to be walked all over.

I have little regard for, respect for or hope in any politician today. I don't think any of them deserve to be reelected. I'm really worried about our country!

Wondering how the latest "gangsta rap" program of not reporting criminal activities to the police will work out here? Still am convinced that there's more to this story than what has been made public so far.

Gster, the problem with the repellent is that I fear my arm would separate from my hand at the wrist! The after-dark suggestion is, shudder, worse.

I can not comment on Ann Coulter, I've not read any of her books nor have I listened to her on radio or TV(which ever she is on). Now with that said, I know that she is as far right as right can be. All I know, is there are some that like her and some that don't.

Link, above, to a "brag piece" about the actions being taken in the dining halls at Colby College where the younger attends (most assuredly a campus where the aforementioned Ms Coulter would not feel welcome). I am aware that other schools are working on many of the same items, but it's nice to see a third party's take on this.
