'Sall right, Tracy.

Now Hoekstra is making a statement that the attempt to bring democracy to Iraq is failing. There's too many "strange" statements being made these days for all this to be coincidental...

I got a little diddly squat. Been keeping it safe in the freezer. I think it would soothe tired bloggies.

It's the same story different day except the spiral seems to be tighter and one wonders more how they can put any positive spin on the thing when it's spinning clear outta control!

Yep, Linda, I'm beginning to wonder if I'll be able to read the "Petraeus Report" without suffering from vertigo....

I forgot to mention to all my blog friends here that I received an update from the elder. It seems the 1/2 time position she obtained has turned into a full time position, as she will be teaching 2 sections of Chem, 3 sections of Alg. I. The school has an interesting name: "Tartan Senior High School".

One of my professional colleagues who was a high school math teacher predicted this would happen....

Congrats to the elder Vaughn.

Linda, could I borrow a cup of diddly squat? I'll return it as soon as my own diddly is restocked.

And Tracy? Do we need to flog yer blog for ya? I mean, just to get it woke up again? :)

Been reading on the internets (you know it's really a series of tubes...) that lots of people have a vague feeling of apprehension right now about what is or isnt going on.

Dangerous people, when cornered, become even more dangerous. I wonder what John Prine would say?

Absolutely longhorn! I think diddly squat repletes itself when shared.

Well, obviously those making decisions for "Tartan Senior High School" were wise enough to not let a good teacher get away! Keep her busy full-time and maybe she won't look further. Best of luck to her!

I've been bothered ever since I heard him use Vietnam in his speech. I don't have the words to describe my uneasiness but you hit on what scares me when you mentioned being cornered -- and they are animals and they are cornered so we should pay close attention.

Will the elder be required to wear any certain kind of plaid to teach at that school?

Ha, ha, Linda.

Looking at the school website, it seems the name "Tartan" was determined after rejection of "Oakdale" (the suburb of St. Paul where it is located) due to the wider geographical scope of those who attend. Has something to do with the involvement of 3M in the funding, etc. of the school when it was first started/contemplated.

BTW, the official school colors are "Air Force Blue and Silver"; the 'mascot' is the "Titans".

You all already know I'm a Capn girl.

Jimmy Buffett turned 60 this past Dec. 25, a day he undoubtedly spent in a lower latitude, in a meditative frame of mind, in close proximity to a tankard of Captain Morgan.

Thanks for all the congrats! Jaxon and mom are doing fine, although mom is tired. He's a nightowl, the nurses said that babies born in the a.m. often are, and their schedules can be turned around.

Yep, Rox, our younger, born in the a.m., was quite the nightowl, and while we got her schedule turned around, there were times when we wondered.
