My Dear Mike:

Got your card. Was rather surprised at the turn of affairs. In fact it is quite alarming and Christmas too. I haven’t anything to add except God Bless you and hope and pray for the best, as Wheeler said we will lick hell out of them.—I am praying for you—sending a box of cookies and candy wish it were over.
