GOOD MORNING TERROR FANS!

OPEN THREADS

Arvon sent me this linkie, another google gadget for news junkies I guess.

I wonder if Osama and the Al Queda bunch sit 'round the ol' hooka pipe smokin' hasheesh and watch this thing update?

Speaking of Arvon, I hadda help Ma haul him back to the hospital again lastnight when his blood pressure crashed. Same old ongoing urinary infections cause this when he starts being symptomatic. One minute he's fine, and the next minute he doesn't know where he's at. Scary.

Hi Tracy--Sorry about your Dad. I know what you mean though. A UTI does really scary things. We learned eventually that when Mom had a UTI the first symptom was disorientation and hallucination. You wouldnt think so, but it is.

It is so hard watching them suffer and struggle. Yer a good man Tracy Phillips, but dont worry. Your secret is safe with me.. heheeheh!

I still contend though, that caring for an aging and/or ill parent is an honor, not a burden. But it doesnt always seem that way...

Thanks, longie.
Yep, it's SCARY.
He's sitting in the living room, two rooms away from his computer and talking to it, and about it, like he's there running it.

I never did like hallucinating.
I'll tell ya' the "mushroom story" sometime.

Tracy, hope this finds your dad quickly recovering from the infection.

Yes, lh, one wouldn't think so, but I've seen it many, many times.

Trying to get caught up a bit, so I've been MIA this morning, and likely will be this afternoon. Part of the problem (in getting behind) has been a sudden influx of various things which require attention. Need to shake off the nice, warm glow still existing from the past weekend's glorious outcome in Manhattan....
