2. Real tree or artificial? Artificial.
3. When do you put up your tree? The weekend following Thanksgiving.
4. When do you take down your tree? After New Year’s Day.
5. Do you like eggnog? Nope.
6. Favorite gift received as a child? When we lived in Cape Girardeau, MO., an adopted mutt from the pound. Named him Baron. I didn’t think he was ready to be a doggy-angel yet.
7. Do you have a nativity scene? Yes, my Mother made a set for me, and a set for my Brother.
8. Hardest person to buy for? Dad.
9. Easiest person to buy for? Grandaughter.
10. Worst Christmas gift you've ever received? There are no bad presents. Sums better an others.
11. Mail or email Christmas cards? Mail.
12. Favorite Christmas movie? A Christmas Story (You’ll shoot your eye out kid!)
13. When do you start shopping for Christmas? The wife tells me when I’ve started and when I’m done.
14. Have you ever recycled a Christmas present? NO
15. Favorite thing to eat at Christmas? Snickerdoodle cookies, year round when I find them.
16. White or colored lights? Indoors white, outdoors colors.
17. Favorite Christmas song? Father Christmas, The Kinks
18. Traveling for Christmas or stay home? Home.
19. Can you name all of Santa's reindeers? Nope. 7 Dwarves either.
20. Angel or Star on top of tree? Don’t know. I’d hafta call home and ask the wife.
21. Open presents Christmas Eve or Morning? Both.
22. Most annoying thing about this time of year? Consumerism and greed while people starve.
23. What I love most about Christmas? Jesus real message.
24. Do you like fruitcake? Just the thought makes me nauseated.Okay, now your turn. Ready, set, copy!

1. Wrapping paper or gift bag? Wrapping paper, with an occasional newspaper thrown in for the big stuff.
2. Real tree or artificial? Artificial
3. When do you put up your tree? I don't. It would be a wreck in two days with the 3-year-old grandson. I used to put it up around the middle of December and take down the day after Christmas. A tree takes up a LOT of room, and there's never enough of that.
4. When do you take down your tree? (See above.) As soon after Christmas as possible. One year, a long time ago, we had a beautiful flocked tree that I finally took down on Valentine's Day. Lesson learned.
5. Do you like eggnog? Yuk!
6. Favorite gift received as a child? Gee, my first big bike? Or that Dale Evans cowgirl outfit and the Mickie Mouse watch when I was 5 maybe...
7. Do you have a nativity scene? When I was a child, yes. Now, no. We aren't "Christian", but I don't have a problem with nativity scenes for anyone else.
8. Hardest person to buy for? I can always find something for anybody.
9. Easiest person to buy for? They're all pretty easy...all 11 in the family, not counting friends.
10. Worst Christmas present ever? Can't remember one that was all that bad.
11. Mail or email Christmas cards? I haven't mailed cards for several years. I buy them, then run out of time to address and send. I've created a website and send the link to friends, so I guess that counts as email, in a way.
12. Favorite Christmas movie? It's a Wonderful Life
13. When do you start shoppiong for Christmas? When I have the money to start buying for Christmas. :)
14. Have you ever recycled a Christmas present? No
15. Favorite thing to eat at Christmas? Red Velvet Cake (Waldorff=Astoria cake)
16. White or colored lights? White
17. Favorite Christmas song? Sleigh Ride, although that's more winter than Christmas. (It's the holiday ringtone on my cellphone.) Carol of the Bells comes close.
18. Traveling for Christmas or stay home? Whatever works. With married kids, it takes shuffling, so one never knows.
19. Can you name all of Santa's reindeer? Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner (or is that Donder?) and Blitzen. And Rudolph makes 9.

20. Angel or star on top of tree? A star has replaced our worn angel.
21. Open presents Christmas Eve or morning? Whenever we can, these days. Used to do both, long ago.
22. Most annoying thing about this time of year? The entire reason for the season has been forgotten. People are rude even more than usual. I hate shopping, crowded stores, the "need" to buy something, everything about it...except for the real meaning of "Good will towards men." Women too, of course.
23. What I love most about Christmas? When it's over? LOL Seriously, the hope and prayers for peace.
24. Do you like fruitcake? Oh, gag me, although it probably goes well with the YUK eggnog.
Okay, I feel better now. Maybe I can smile through another holiday season, just one more time. Bah Humbug!
