So I heard Morrison's annoucement today. I hate to admit some part of me isn't all that surprised... but what I like is all the Republican's who are vilifying him for this affair while making the woman he had the affair with into a saint (a la Monica Lewinsky). Come on people, she was a grown womand and made her own damn decisions - she is no more innocent in this than he is... sorry, soapbox, I'll jump off before I really get going, but this kind of thing just frosts me. When an extramarital affair occurs, there are TWO people involved, and TWO people responsible. So how come only one catches the blame? If we had a female AG and this was happening, I have no doubt it would be HER fault... It just seems to me that a) this is a PERSONAL matter between these adults and their families and it's none of our damn business and b) if we are going to be tossing around blame, let's remember BOTH people involved there, shall we?

Yep, an affair between two adults seems to be something they did together. But IF this affair is between coworkers and one of them is in a superior position and used the sexual affair to influence the direct report in ANY way then it becomes more than two adults in a sexual relationship. Time will tell. And if the law was broken by Morrison, the man entrusted to enforce laws for the state, he shouldn't be allowed to stay in that position. And, to me it doesn't matter what party he was registered with when elected. I don't understand why this is a partisan issue but those "over there" seem to think it is. This would mainly be the same ones who were very upset when he changed from his Republic association in order to run against Philllllll as a Democratic candidate. Donald Duck could have won against Phillll. Those "over there" can make anything and everything a partisan subject.
